One of Anna’s great passions is ensuring that the results of her research have real world applications and that these are communicated to the public.
She is regularly called upon to take part in science festivals, podcasts, school events and other public engagement opportunities and audiences find her areas of research relatable, entertaining and engaging. She is particularly interested in events which engage with women and young people with the aim of encouraging these under-represented groups to be involved with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects.
